Megum-Rubber to metal bonding grades

Product NameDescription
MEGUM™ 538A general-purpose cover coat adhesive for bonding elastomers like NR, SBR, BR, EPDM, CR, and NBR to metals and rigid substrates during vulcanization. Suitable for dynamic and static stress conditions.
MEGUM™ 3276A solvent-based primer designed to promote adhesion between metals and MEGUM™/THIXON™ cover coats. Used with polar elastomers such as NBR, HNBR, and ACM.
MEGUM™ 3290-1A one-coat bonding agent developed specifically for fluoroelastomers (FKM). Ideal for chemically aggressive environments and high-temperature bonding.
MEGUM™ 3340 A/BTwo-component adhesive system for bonding low-durometer and flexible elastomers. Designed for applications requiring long-term flexibility and reliability under sterilization.
MEGUM™ 508Lead-free bonding agent for difficult-to-bond rubbers like EPDM and soft elastomers. Offers strong adhesion to metals under vulcanization and resists heat and chemical attack.
Thixon-Rubber to metal bonding grades
Product Name Description
THIXON™ P-11-EF A solvent-based primer designed to promote adhesion between metals and THIXON™ or MEGUM™ cover coats. Compatible with polar elastomers such as nitrile rubber (NBR), hydrogenated nitrile rubber (HNBR), and acrylic rubber (ACM).
THIXON™ OSN-2-EF A general-purpose one-coat adhesive used for bonding various elastomers to metals, including natural rubber (NR), styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), polybutadiene (BR), polyisoprene (IR), chlorosulfonated polyethylene (CSM), chloroprene (CR), and polyacrylate (ACM).
THIXON™ 305 A solvent-based adhesive designed for bonding elastomers such as natural rubber (NR), styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), nitrile rubber (NBR), and chloroprene rubber (CR) to metals. Suitable for applications requiring high peel strength and heat resistance.
THIXON™ 520-P-EF A general-purpose cover coat adhesive used for bonding rubber compounds like natural rubber (NR), styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), nitrile rubber (NBR), and chloroprene rubber (CR) to metals and other rigid substrates during vulcanization.
THIXON™ 422 A solvent-based adhesive formulated for bonding elastomers such as natural rubber (NR), styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), nitrile rubber (NBR), and chloroprene rubber (CR) to metals. Offers excellent resistance to heat, oil, and water.
